Founder and product‑focused engineering leader: Mikel co‑founded Onfleet in 2012 and led its engineering organization through product development, real‑time routing and scaling the platform to serve thousands of customers and millions of monthly deliveries. His work combined systems engineering, real‑time data, route optimization and team building. unb+2

Early career in enterprise and startup engineering: Before Onfleet Mikel had roles across small startups and larger enterprise teams (Green Imaging Technologies internship, SocialDeck, IBM DB2/technical enablement, Vicimus), giving him experience in both product startups and enterprise support that informed his technical leadership. unb+1

International background and education: Born/raised in Spain, attended high school in Dubai and studied Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick (BCS '09). He relocated to North America to pursue education and later moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to build Onfleet. unb+1

Current focus on scalable teams and healthcare automation: After stepping back from VP of Engineering duties at Onfleet and taking a board role, Mikel joined Plenful as Director of Engineering to lead scalable engineering efforts for an AI workflow automation product serving pharmacy and healthcare operations. plenful+1
