About
I am currently working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Uttarakhand, where I have been working on the project titled "Development of Stealth Materials for Broadband: Efficient Application of Advanced Electromagnetic Techniques" under the able guidance of respected Prof. Dr. Dharmendra Singh. As part of this project, my research spans across RF, antennas, electromagnetic materials, and RADAR cross-section (RCS) measurements. I have in-hand experience in: RCS measurements & RADAR applications – free-space measurements, camouflage net evaluation, and scattering analysis. RF & antenna design – expertise in CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, and practical validation using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA). Electromagnetic materials – design and testing of stealth materials, absorption/ transmission studies in the 2–18 GHz range, and Frequency Selective Surfaces (FSS) for bandwidth optimization. Optical fibre sensors – integration with smart materials such as copper-based shape memory alloys. Passionate about RF and radar engineering, my aim is to contribute to stealth technology, wireless communication, and advanced sensing systems I had also worked as a Junior Research Fellow at the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering (SCEE), Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, where I worked on the project "Fault-Tolerant Control of Swarm of Drones—An Experimental Framework for Forest Fire Fighting" under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Tushar Jain. As part of this project, I developed expertise in the Robot Operating System (ROS 2) and utilised the Gazebo simulator to model the Crazyflie 2.1 drone, incorporating its bundled accessories such as the Flow-deck V2, Multi-ranger deck, and Crazy-radio 2.0. Swarm robotics & drones – development of drone swarm control frameworks using ROS 2, Gazebo, and Crazyswarm2. In addition to my current work, I hold a postgraduate degree in Nanoelectronics from JNU, New Delhi, where I gained hands-on experience in sample preparation for Transmission Electron Microscopy, antenna design using CST Microwave Studio and HFSS, and working with Vector Network Analyzers. I also worked extensively on depositing thin films on quartz substrates. Furthermore, I have a strong foundation in analog circuit design and am proficient in digital electronics, enhancing my versatility in the field of electronics and communication engineering.
