"Investment Manager" at bd partners. At bd partners, we invest in (early-stage) start-ups in Europe. Always happy to connect! About me: When I was young, I played tennis competitively. I stopped with 15. When turning 16, I started waiting tables and started traveling. After high school, I traveled alone for more than 20 months around New Zealand, Asia, and Europe, mostly on foot or on my bicycle. Afterward, I studied International Management in Hamburg (HAW) and Rhode Island (URI) (double Bachelor's degree), always worked during my studies, and enjoyed learning as much as applying my new knowledge. Studied for my Master's degree with a focus on Finance and Entrepreneurship in Leipzig (HHL) and Jönköping (JIBS). During my Master's, I tried to start a company, which gained some early traction, but we decided to stop before fully committing because the topic didn't excite us enough and after studying the market and our business model the opportunity was not attractive enough. Instead, I worked together with the Trivago founders at their start-up investment entity, Monkfish. I initiated a business angel network (KFLT), which is still actively investing. After three years at Monkfish, I joined bd partners in the beginning of 2024. I always try to balance between learning and doing. I am convinced that shaping the future needs out-of-the-box thinking. This needs a can-do attitude, tireless desire to learn, and multi-faceted perspective on situations that will help to find solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s problems.
