Agency growth consultant | Dev shops + creative firms: pricing, pipeline, new business | Author, The Attraction Agency | 2x Inc. 5000 | Former BMX Pro

Most B2B companies I work with have the same problem. They've got a real service and real clients, but the sales and marketing side is held together with referrals and whoever the founder can personally follow up with. No content engine. No pipeline system. No sales enablement. Just people who are good at delivery trying to also be good at marketing. I run Schmidt Consulting Group. Two sides to what we do: On the execution side, we build and run GTM for B2B companies that have outgrown founder-led sales but aren't ready to hire a marketing department. Content strategy, podcast production, pipeline systems, sales enablement, distribution. I direct strategy. My team handles production. The client gets a working growth engine without building a department. On the advisory side, I work 1:1 with agency founders on positioning, pricing, and how they sell. Most of them have strong delivery and weak sales and marketing infrastructure. I help them fix the business side. Before this I spent twenty years inside agencies and B2B services companies. Built them, ran them, been responsible for payroll. Scaled one to the Inc. 5000 list twice. Led teams from a handful of people to 500+. I co-founded a bike company at 19 after years as a professional BMX rider (a long time ago, but the wiring stuck). I wrote The Attraction Agency and The Little Book of Networking. I host The Agency Brief, a podcast and newsletter on agency growth. And I run The Solo Club for agency founders building on their own terms. If you're running a B2B company and you're past the stage where the founder can do all the selling but not yet at the stage where you can staff a marketing team, that's exactly where we work. If that sounds like you, message me here. I'll give you a straight read on whether we can help and what I'd do first.
