Joe Houghton

Joe Houghton is a highly experienced academic and consultant, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Project Management at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School since 2004. He also holds roles as Managing Director of Houghton Consulting and Senior Associate at Trigraph Intelligent Learning, demonstrating a strong blend of academic rigor and practical application in management and education.

His expertise extends to Artificial Intelligence, particularly in digital imaging, as evidenced by his role as an AI Consultant for The Royal Photographic Society and his involvement in the UCD AI and Teaching Working Group. He actively contributes to the discourse and application of AI in educational and photographic contexts.

Joe is deeply committed to adult learning and inclusive education, serving as an Ambassador for EPALE - Adult Learning in Europe and a UCD University for ALL Faculty Partner.
