Presents a systematic procedure to determine phase-field model parameters (gradient energy coefficient and double-well potential height) under sharp and thin interface limits, using the Allen-Cahn equation to study cation interdiffusion in solid oxide fuel cells and evaluating effects of interface thickness and interfacial energy.

Uses a phase-field model to study cation interdiffusion across electrode-electrolyte interfaces in SOFCs incorporating finite ion size effects, reporting effects on concentration profiles and electric potential and discussing implications for realistic interface modeling.
