Dietrich Aumann

Dietrich is an Investment Manager at Helsana HealthInvest. He joined the CVC arm of Switzerland’s largest health insurer as employee #1 in 2021, which gave him first-hand experience of setting up a VC fund from scratch – from strategy to deal-making & portfolio management for fund & direct investments. The firm focuses on Series A digital health deals across Europe with an emphasis on solutions that can increase access, improve quality, or create efficiency in care delivery. Before diving into Digital Health, Dietrich studied Design in Delft, Business at St Gallen and created new products & businesses in startups and corporates across Automotive, Marketplaces and Telco. helsana+2

Ecosystem-builder and early-stage investor: Beyond his Helsana role he participates in the Swiss venture ecosystem (noted as an LP/investor with S2S Ventures) and appears at investor panels and industry events, indicating active engagement in dealflow, mentorship and ecosystem activities in Zurich and Switzerland more broadly. raizer+1
