About
Public health professional with a background in scientific communications and marketing passionate about scientific affairs, real-world evidence (RWE), and real-world data (RWD). I earned Bachelor's degrees in Public Health Science, B.S., and Social Policy & Public Service, B.A., from the University of California, Irvine, and conducted my honors-caliber thesis on neurodegenerative disease epidemiology. I have also earned certification relevant to ICH/GCP Guidelines. I believe RWE, RWD, and efforts to increase access to and inclusion in clinical trials are pivotal to public health promotion and the development of effective interventions. I'm dedicated to demonstrating value for medical interventions and contributing to the development and execution of decentralized clinical trials (DCT) which I believe will foster greater inclusion in clinical research. I intend to contribute to expanding care and preventative services to historically underrepresented groups and advocate for inclusivity and greater representation of individuals with comorbidities, disabilities, and racial and ethnic minorities in clinical trial cohorts. I was previously affiliated with the UC Irvine Center for the Neurobiology of Learning & Memory and Alzheimer's Orange County where I shared the innovative neurodegenerative disease research being done, and advocated for screening and optimizing brain health. I'm currently a consultant at Translucence Biosystems, a research-focused biotechnology company leading the revolution in histology and whole organ 3D visualization. I am excited about the growth in histology and imaging technology and their impact on our knowledge and treatment of disease. It is a pleasure to connect.
