About
TL;DR Version Building OnLoop for team and self development with a lifelong mission of unlocking the full potential of each individual and unit. Ex-mgmt consultant (Accenture Strategy), all things non technical in high growth big tech (Uber) with a stint in distressed turnaround & investing. Stanford MBA. I call Singapore home, equally love NYC, culturally globally confused, grew up in India. I’ve been told that I care deeply, am quite intense and think rigorously. Also proud Facebook dependent and partner to Oly Fernando. _______________________ Read further version: Co-founded OnLoop in 2020, along with Anne Lewallen, Muhammad Mohsin, Subhodeep Bose. The only thing that I've complained about consistently in my career is the poor quality of tools to help managers of fast-moving, distributed orgs develop their teams. Which is why we started building OnLoop - a mobile-first app (yet beautifully woven into your workflow) for teams to build the habit of regular reflection, feedback and learning that aggregates in a meaningful way to help everyone get better, faster. From where we see it, work is designed to get things done, not make people better. OnLoop is here to change that. Prior to OnLoop, I spent three and a half years at Uber in a variety of roles including leading Strategy & Operations for Business Development globally, leading Strategy & Planning for the APAC rides business, and GM of the Philippines rides business. I spent some time raising debt and equity from New York hedge funds for an industrials conglomerate, in strategy consulting in South East Asia, and in early stage companies in Latin America prior to that. Somewhere along the way I spent 2 years at Stanford, getting an MBA. In my opinion, Singapore is the best country in the world, and the reason why we chose Singapore as HQ for OnLoop although we could have very well built this company out of the US. A Permanent Resident, I proudly called Singapore home. We are in private beta and testing with leaders at some of the world's best companies who resonate with our pain and ensuring we build the right product that solves end user pain enough to drive sustained engagement before opening up more broadly. We are also building an engineering team in Singapore, globally distributed and heads down in build mode. Grateful for having the resources and backing to solve a key need for distributed teams in midst of an unprecedented pandemic and could not be more full of purpose. Feel free to reach out if you're intrigued.
