Ben Sherman

Ben Sherman is a highly engaged student leader at The University of Texas at Austin, actively participating in several campus organizations. He holds roles as Associate Director for the Office of the Study Body President, is a member of the Texas Cowboys, serves as Senior Advisor for Texas Venture Group (formerly Co-Head), and is the Alumni & Professional Chair for Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity. txventuregroup+1

Ben is a committed advocate for the Jewish community and Israel, having founded Longhorn Students For Israel at UT Austin, one of the largest independent Israel advocacy organizations in the nation. He also served as president of the Jewish Cultural Society at Montclair Kimberley Academy and was treasurer of the Rosenblatt Family Hillel at Wake Forest University. He actively leads counter-protests and engages with various organizations to support Jewish students and combat antisemitism on campus. timesofisrael+3

With a strong interest in finance, Ben is set to join Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Analyst in 2025, specializing in Industrials. He gained significant experience as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Evercore in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 2024, an opportunity that was part of his 2024 Global Fellowship with The Excel Fellowship. timesofisrael+2
