Marcelo Pimenta

Hi there! My name is Marcelo Pimenta, a Brazilian entrepreneur and experienced GROWTH professional. I'm passionate about building things from Zero to Something Really Great. I'm in my fourth venture right now: I'm partner and head of Growth @ StartSe, one of the fastest growing education companies in Brazil. I co-created a multimillion company from scratch, called Vale Presente / Hib Fintech, sold for Magazine Luiza for $60 million and also developed the Brazilian market for Securitas-Direct Verisure, a leading Group for Home Security and Alarm Systems in the world (funded by Hellman & Friedman LLC, a private equity firm from San Francisco). My specialty is GROWTH and online sales (customer acquisition and lifetime value) that drives high revenue through the whole buying cycle. I've been gathering 18 years of experience now, working at the retail, fintech (finance), e-commerce and education/infoproduct industries. I'm well known for creative action, not depending on "high-budget" marketing investments. Invited by Google São Paulo and AB/Inbev for training their teams on the Growth Hacking subject. Holding a Masters degree at ESPM (one of the top Marketing Universities in Brazil) and an International Business extension at Florida International University (FIU).
