Strategic Communications Executive | 2X Chief Communications and Development Officer | 8-Figure Nonprofit Fundraiser | Deep Experience Across Public Health, Global NGOs, Higher Ed & Media

I’ve built my career on a simple belief: words can heal, connect, and move people to action. I am a senior communications executive who helps complex organizations define who they are and translate that clarity into growth and impact. My path began with a love of storytelling, inspired by my father, a journalist who taught me to value clear thinking and precise language. When he passed away from cancer at an early age, that lesson took on new meaning. It pulled my work toward public service and public health, where communication can help save lives and alleviate suffering. Since then, I’ve led communications programs across the global health, higher education, nonprofits, and the private sectors—from the CDC and Columbia University to one of the world’s largest media agencies. Across these roles, I have brought coherence to complexity, aligned narrative with mission, and empowered organizations to speak with authority and credibility to the audiences that matter most. I work closely with executive teams and boards to answer hard questions: What do we stand for? Why does it matter now? How do we explain it in a way that lands? I build the systems, processes, and teams that turn those answers into sustained narratives—guiding campaigns, tactical activations, fundraising, executive visibility, and institutional reputation. My leadership is grounded in integrity and service—lifting others, strengthening organizations, and ensuring that words are used with care, precision, and purpose. At their best, communications don’t just tell stories. They move people to act.
